What is the Christmas order cut-off date?
The Christmas order cutoff date is December 18th. Expedited shipment options are available on checkout.
What are PlayboyWines.com shipping rates?
Wines are shipped by FEDEX. United States Postal Service does not allow wine shipments, thus we are bound by private carriers. Typically the cost of shipping wines runs approximately $10.00 for single bottle, $12 per double bottle, $13 per four bottle, and $17 per six bottle, and $28 per twelve bottle (case) shipment. Overnight and 2-day expedite orders can be placed online or call in orders for rush ground shipments to (800) 690-9463.
Can PlayboyWines.com ship to my state?
Because we have developed a network of retailer partners within the majority of states, we can ship to most locations. Wines are physically not touched by PlayboyWines.com, however PlayboyWines.com has inspected each partner to ensure that proper storage and inventories are available to accommodate order requests.
Can PlayboyWines.com ship to my country?
Depending on the laws of your country, we can or cannot ship to you. It would be a good idea to call us directly so that we can investigate shipping to you before you place your order.
How do I check my order status?
Please log into your account at account.php to view the status of your order. We update all orders on a regular basis at all hours of the day.
What if I want to cancel my order?
Orders can only be cancelled if the product is still listed in pending status. If the order has been placed and is in production, shipping/receiving or has been listed as delivered, we do not guaranty refunds or cancellations. Any returned item that has been accepted by PlayboyWines.com is subject to a 25% restocking fee. There are no cancellations on custom wine orders (Personal Wine).
Why is shipping wine so expensive?
Shipping wine is expensive because of the price of gas, and the cost of the adult signature verification. To ensure that minors do not have access to alcoholic products online, we require an adult to sign for any purchase at the time of delivery. Each case of wine weighs approximately 40 pounds and has 16X 16 X 13 inch dimensions.

How do I track my order?

Do you include billing information in the packaging?
No billing or invoice information will be sent in the package.
What if I am not home in time to pick up my order from the delivery man?
YOU MUST HAVE SOMEONE OVER THE AGE OF 21 TO SIGN FOR YOUR WINE PACKAGES. Under no circumstances will a delivery person leave a package at your front door, or any where else for that matter without age verification. This is why we encourage you to ship your wine to a business address where someone will be present from 8AM to 5PM to sign for packages. DHL and FEDEX will typically attempt no more than 2 delivery attempts and then return the wine to us. YOU WILL BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL DELIVERY CHARGES AND REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GIVEN FOR SHIPMENTS RETURNED TO US FOR MULTIPLE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS.
Important Notes Regarding PlayboyWines.com Shipments
- PlayboyWines.com contracts with key retailers across the country to give you the most optimal shipping rates and product selection available. Our shipping and delivery methods vary by the locations where your products are located and sold. We do this to give your wine:
- Less time in transit, thus keeping the wines under the best possible temperature control
- Putting less stress on the wine from multiple handling accustomed by DHL or FEDEX.
- Less total cost of acquisition by keeping shipping rates lower by shipping wines from your zone.
- Typical transit time is going to be 1-3 days. - During the summer months we recommend faster shipping options to our customers. We don’t make more money, but we encourage expedited shipments especially if you are purchasing higher end collectable wines.
- You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from PlayboyWines.com. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" sticker, and the common carrier that delivers our merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that you will have to be present at the time of delivery and under no circumstances, even with your signature, will a delivery person leave a package at your door. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MULTIPLE ATTEMPT DELIVERIES TO YOU. As a result, we encourage you to ship your wines to a business address. Multiple attempt deliveries may result in additional shipping fees for re-delivery.
- During the summer months, we attempt to ship wines on Mondays in order to get shipments to you before the weekend. We do this as a courtesy to you in order to prevent wines from resting in freight warehouses over weekends. While we strive to pick and pack your wines on the same day, it’s a possibility that we will hold your wine for shipment until the following Monday or the next possible day to ensure product quality control.
- We ship by DHL or FEDEX. Our shipping costs include the packaging and handling.
- Pre-sale or futures are shipped upon receipt of product and can sometimes take months to arrive. Once your order has arrived, we will contact you to inform you of the arrival and shipment. Product will be held until proper contact and delivery methods have been arranged accordingly.
- Because we contract with the finest retailers in the United States, wines are shipped in accordance with each state law and do violate any shipping laws. If for some reason you are trying to buy wines in a state that has an absolute ban on inter and intra state shipping, we encourage you to contact your State Senator and complain as this violates the inter-state commerce clause within the United States Constitution.
